ORIGINAL MESSAGE
The first-ever U17 Baseball5 European Championship will kick off on November 16, 2022 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Belgium will participate in the competitions aiming to win the title of European Champion and qualify for the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup in 2023.
The Sofia Sports Hall is welcoming 14 teams from all over Europe. Divided into two pools, the teams will face the first part of the competition playing forty-two round-robin games.
POOL A: France, Bulgaria, Türkiye, Moldova, Latvia, Belgium, Czechia.
POOL B: Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Israel, Greece, Romania.
The top 8 of the first round robin will later face the bracket to become European Champions playing one-off games to reach the final. Sixty-one games are scheduled for the U17 Baseball5 European Championship, played on two fields from November 16 to 19, 2022.
Belgium will play the first game on Wednesday 16 November against Moldova at 11:30 local time (10:30 Brussels time)!
