Belgian National Slowpitch Teams in Action – Antwerp Diamond Classic set to showcase elite slowpitch teams, 2 – 4 June

Slowpitch Belgium proudly presents our first ever international All Men, All Women and CoEd Slowpitch tournament: The Antwerp Diamond Classic. Our Belgian National Slowpitch Teams are ready to swing for the fences and compete against some of Europe’s toughest opponents – the national teams of the UK, The Netherlands and Germany – in this WBSC Europe sanctioned tournament.

Games start Friday June 2nd at 18:00 and end Sunday evening June 4th.

All national teams participating in the Antwerp Diamond Classic have a remarkable track record in coed slowpitch. Great Britain triumphed as European Champions at the Coed Slowpitch European Championship 2022 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Germany’s won the silver medal and The Netherlands won the bronze medal at the same championship. Belgium ranked seventh in the previous championship.

In addition to the coed slowpitch games, the Antwerp Diamond Classic will also feature separate men’s and women’s slowpitch competitions. Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany will play in both men’s and women’s slowpitch tournaments, with five games scheduled for each category.
