On Thursday 15 August 2019 the Brasschaat Braves and Hoboken Pioneers will play the Final of the Belgium Cup Baseball 2019!
Yesterday, August 1st, the 4 remaining Baseball Gold teams competed until late in the evening for a place in the Final.
The Brasschaat Braves battled against last year’s Cup winner, the Borgerhout Squirrels. In Brasschaat the Braves won with a clear 6-1. The Hoboken Pioneers got the job done in Merksem and beat the Greys with a convincing 9-0 after good offensive work immediately in the first inning and excellent pitching by Kenny Van den Branden.
The Belgium Cup Final will be played in two weeks on August 15th at 15:30 pm on the neutral field of the Spartans in Deurne. The Pioneers and Braves will then compete for the coveted Belgium Cup 2019 and the accompanying European Ticket for 2020. The final will be framed with various activities for the youth during the day. Ambiance is insured as always at the Royal Deurne Spartans.
