Chicaboo’s Stabroek in Women’s Softball European Cup

Chicaboo’s Stabroek have won the final of the Women’s Softball European Cup 2022!

Chicaboo’s had won all their 8 round robin games and went still undefeated to the Finals.
The championshipgame – Saturday 20 August 2022 – against home team Avigliana Rebels (ITA) was won 10-0 by mercy-rule in 4 innings. Crowning Chicaboo’s as undefeated Champs!

Belgium and Austria – bronze medal with the Vienna Wanderers – herewith also qualified for the 2023 Women’s Softball European Premiere Cup.

The ladies of Chicaboo’s Stabroek – and Belgian Softball Champs 2021 – will play in the Women’s Softball European Cup this week of 15 – 20 August 2022. The tournament will be played in Avigliana and Turin Italy.

The following teams will take part:

  • Avigliana Rebels (ITA)
  • Angels Dupnitsa Softball (BUL)
  • Odense Giants Softball Klub (DEN)
  • Panthers Wroclaw (POL)
  • Princ Zagreb (CRO)
  • Stabroek Chicaboo’s (BEL)
  • Söders SK (SWE)
  • The Mix (GBR)
  • Wanderers (AUT)

In the first round Chicaboo’s Stabroek will face all 8 opponents. The top 4 will play on Saturdag 20 August for the medals.
On Monday 15 August the Chicaboo’s will start at 13:30 in their opening game against Söders SK (SWE).
