A few weeks ago, the KBBSF-FRBBS announced a postponement of the competitions. Since then, we have been following the evolution of the health situation as well as the recommendations of the various sport bodies in Belgium.
Now that outdoor training is possible for all ages in groups of 10 people and that the outdoor plan for this summer is approaching, we are preparing behind the scenes the adapted competition structure for 2021. If in 2020, the competition had been canceled in favor of a friendly competition, we would like to inform you that a competition with a sporting issue will indeed take place in 2021. This means that there will be promotions and relegations in order to rebalance the divisions and allow an even more exciting 2022 season.
Although several scenarios have already been developed, we will not be able to give you more information until after the safety committee of 11/05 which should specify the practical modalities for the resumption of amateur competitions. The KBBSF-FRBBS Board has already scheduled a meeting to validate the proposal that TECCOM will develop on this basis.
Prepare to return to competition soon, while respecting applicable training protocols.

Een paar weken geleden kondigde KBBSF een uitstel van de competitie aan. Sindsdien volgt KBBSF de evolutie van de gezondheidssituatie en de aanbevelingen van de verschillende sportorganen in België nauwgezet op.
Nu buitentraining opnieuw mogelijk is, voor alle leeftijden in groepen van 10 personen, en het buitenplan voor deze zomer in aantocht is, bereidt KBBSF achter de schermen de passende competitiestructuur voor 2021 voor. Waar de competitie in 2020 werd afgelast ten gunste van een vriendschappelijke competitie, willen we meegeven dat voor 2021 er effectief een competitie met sportieve gevolgen zal plaatsvinden. Dit wil zeggen dat er promoties en degradaties zullen zijn om de divisies opnieuw in evenwicht te brengen en een nog spannender seizoen 2022 mogelijk te maken.
Hoewel er reeds verschillende scenario’s uitgewerkt zijn, kunnen we jullie pas meer informatie geven na het geplande overlegcomité van 11/05, hierin zouden de praktische modaliteiten voor de hervatting van amateurcompetities worden gespecificeerd. Het bestuur van KBBSF heeft al een vergadering gepland om het voorstel dat TECCOM op deze basis gaat ontwikkelen te valideren.
Bereid je voor om binnenkort terug te keren naar de competitie en blijf ondertussen de geldende protocollen in verband met training te respecteren.

Il y a quelques semaines, la FRBBS annoncait un report des compétitions. Depuis, nous suivons l’évolution de la situation sanitaire ainsi que les recommandations des différentes instances sportives en Belgique.
Maintenant que l’entraînement extérieur est possible pour tous les âges en groupe de 10 personnes et que le plan extérieur pour cet été approche, nous préparons dans les coulisses la structure de compétition adaptée pour 2021. Si en 2020, le concours avait été annulé au profit de une compétition amicale, nous tenons à vous informer qu’une compétition à enjeu sportif aura bien lieu en 2021. Cela signifie qu’il y aura des promotions et des relégations afin de rééquilibrer les divisions et permettre une saison 2022 encore plus excitante.
Bien que plusieurs scénarios aient déjà été développés, nous ne pourrons vous donner plus d’informations qu’après le comité de sécurité du 11/05 qui devrait préciser les modalités pratiques de la reprise des compétitions amateurs. Le Conseil de KBBSF-FRBBS a déjà programmé une réunion pour valider la proposition que TECCOM développera sur cette base.
Préparez-vous à reprendre la compétition prochainement, tout en respectant les protocoles d’entraînement applicables.
