Our Young Red Hawks start the European Championship Baseball U23 in Austria on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
After the great performance of the National Team Softball Men – a fourth place at the European Softball Men Championship two weeks ago – all eyes are now on the young baseball men. The U23 NT has been strengthened this year with an extensive coaching staff – led by Paco Garcia – and has completed two preparation programs. In 2017 and 2019, our National Team U23 Baseball finished back-to-back third at the E.C. At present there is a new generation of players who can’t wait to match or improve on these great results.
We will compete for the title of European Champion as well as a spot at the World Cup at this years U-23 Baseball European Championship from August 8-12 in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
The top 8 European countries will participate in this E.C. and the first round is divided into two groups:
Group A – Austria, Czech Republic, England and The Netherlands.
Belgium starts in Group B together with France, Germany and Italy.
The young Red Hawks will play their first game against Germany on Tuesday, August 8 at 14:30
